According to Russian satellite news agency reported on August 4, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmegar said that in 2023 Ukraine will receive financial assistance from "partner countries" up to 28 billion dollars.
"This year, Ukraine received $28 billion from partner countries," Shmegar wrote on the social media platform "Telegram." The European Union provided $11 billion and the United States $8 billion."
Roksolana Piedlasa, chairman of the Budget Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, said that since the beginning of this year, Ukraine has increased defense spending, with half of the budget going to defense.
